The zig zag...I'm so glad you like my pattern!

The zig zag pattern is a repeat of 7 stitches. In Rnds 3 & 4, the pattern is Tks, trs, tks, trs, tks in next 3 sts, or Tks, Trs, Tks, Trs, Tks, Tks, Tks.

Rnds 5 & 6 would be Tks, Tks, Trs, Tks, Trs, Tks, Tks or *Tks in next 2 sts, Trs, Tks, Trs, Tks in next 2 sts; repeat from * around to end of rnd.

There should be no increases or decreases in the cuff of the sock, only in the heel, gusset and toe. Increases and decreases are indicated by rnds that contain a new stitch count at the end, contained in parentheses.

Happy Stitchin'!Patsy Harborhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02394253330227827099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7093160523500517559.post-91113704369217683022020-06-28T15:20:20.055-04:002020-06-28T15:20:20.055-04:00Hi Patsy,
I am attempting to crochet your zigzag s...Hi Patsy,
I am attempting to crochet your zigzag socks pattern and I don't think I'm understanding the instructions in part of the zigzag pattern bit.
Rnds 3-4 it says *Tks, trs, tks, trs, tks in next 3 sts; rep from * to be of rnd.

I know what the abbreviation are for tks and trs (Tunisian knit stitch and reverse stitch). There are 5 stitches here to be done in 3 stitches. Are the stitches to be divided between 3 stitches eg tks & trs in one stitch x2 and tks in 3rd stitch, or do all 5 need to be done in one stitch? or am I misreading it completely.

I feel I'm doing it completely wrong as it increases the number of stitches on this row and up to rnd 8, but I can't think how to do it.

I really love the look of these socks and would love to be able to do them. Thank you for your help in advance.
TheresaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08753747066440842297noreply@blogger.com
